2 Ways to Change the Icon Size on the Windows 11 Taskbar

Geekers - There are two ways to change the icon size on the Windows 11 taskbar via the Registry Editor. Users can reduce or enlarge the size of the icon on the taskbar as desired.

Windows 11 comes with a taskbar that contains several icons. The number of icons on the taskbar will continue to grow as more and more software is running.

Each icon comes with a uniform size. The distance between the icons is also the same. Thanks to the uniform spacing and size of the icons, the taskbar can still look neat at all times even if you run a lot of software.

Actually, the size of the icon on the taskbar in Windows 11 has been carefully regulated by Microsoft so that it is clearly visible to all users.

However, maybe you want the size of the icon to be bigger or even smaller. Fortunately, changing the size of the icons on the Windows 11 taskbar is easy, although you have to spend some time doing it through the Registry Editor.

1. Open the Registry Editor window. To do this, press the Windows logo key and the R key simultaneously to bring up the Run dialog box, type regedit, then click OK.

By changing the size of the icons on the taskbar to the smallest size, the taskbar can accommodate more icons. But most users probably won't need it because Windows 11 relies on the icon grouping feature to organize icons.

This feature groups all the same icons into one icon to minimize the number of icons on the taskbar.

If you don't like the appearance of the icon after it has been resized, you can resize the icon on the Windows 11 taskbar as before by deleting the TaskbarSi in the Registry Editor window, then restarting Windows Explorer via the Task Manager, or restarting the computer, or Signing Out then logging in again.

Thus a review of how to change the icon size on the Windows 11 taskbar. Hope this helps.
