2 Ways to Easily Landscape 1 Specific Page in Word

Geekers - At Ms. Word, there are 2 paper positions (orientation), namely portrait and landscape. Well, in this article, I will discuss landscape. What is landscape position? Landscape is a paper shape that extends horizontally.

Given that there is a variety of information that can be included in Ms. Word, the orientation of the paper will of course be adjusted to your needs. Sometimes, we really need a paper shape that extends horizontally in order to contain certain content.

What if we only want to make 1 page landscape-shaped? To overcome this, you can listen to the explanation of how to landscape 1 particular page in Word below.

A. Create a Landscape Page with the Custom Margins Feature

Here I will give an example of how to make 1 page containing one image into a landscape shape. The following is an example of a page that will be converted to landscape. This page will be better if it is in landscape position so that the image on the page can be enlarged. That way, images will be easier to see and writing will be easier to read.

Watch the steps below.

1. First of all, don't forget to place your cursor on the page that will be changed to landscape as shown below. You also select text on the page.

Then, click the dropdown menu in the Apply to section marked by number 2, then click This point forward. Click OK to save changes as indicated by the arrow in the image below this.

Note: If in step 1, you blocked/selected the writing on the page that will be changed to landscape, then the option that appears is Selected text, so choose the Selected text option.

B. Create Landscape Pages with Shortcuts to Custom Margins

Apart from the method above, you can use a simpler method, namely by using shortcuts. Shortcuts are shortcuts/quick ways to run a program on a computer using the keyboard. The method that will be used still follows the first method, it's just that this method uses shortcut keys.

Following below are the steps to make 1 page in Word a landscape with a shortcut.

1. Same as the first method, make sure to place your cursor on the page that will be changed to landscape as shown below. You also select text on the page.
