C. Via Windows Script Host


There are two ways to display the Windows Script Host window which contains Windows activation information.


I. Command Prompt


1. Open Command Prompt on your PC. You can search for it in the search box by typing 'Command Prompt' then click Command Prompt as shown by the arrow in the image below.

2. In the Command Prompt window, copy the command slmgr -xpr then press Enter on the keyboard.

3. After that, the Windows Script Host window will appear. Usually, the text that will appear depends on the type of license. For example, my license type is Retail / OEM, then the message is The machine is permanently activated. Click OK to close the window as shown by the arrow in the image below.

II. Windows Run


1. Press the Windows key + R on the keyboard to display the Windows Run window as shown below.

2. Then, copy the slmgr.vbs -xpr command to the Open box (marked by a red box). Then, click the OK button to run it as indicated by the arrow in the image below or press the Enter key on the keyboard.

3. The result will be the same as the first method, namely through the Command Prompt, which both displays the Windows Script Host window. Proof that your Windows has been activated is the words 'The machine is permanently activated'. Then, click OK to close the window as shown by the arrow in the image below.
