Change Sounds on Windows 11 Tutorial
In Windows 11, you can customize the sounds that play when certain events or actions occur on your computer. For example, you can change the sound that plays when you receive a new email or when you log in to your account. Here's how to change the sounds on your Windows 11 computer:
Open the Start menu and type "sounds" into the search bar.
Click on "Change system sounds" in the search results.
In the Sound window, click on the dropdown menu next to "Program event" and select the event for which you want to change the sound.
Click on the dropdown menu next to "Sounds" and select the sound you want to use. You can also select "None" if you don't want a sound to play.
Repeat this process for any other events that you want to change the sound for.
When you are finished, click on "Apply" to save your changes.
You can also use the Sound window to adjust the volume for specific events, or to preview the sounds before selecting them.
If you don't see the sound you want to use in the list of available sounds, you can add your own sounds by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting a sound file from your computer. You can use any sound file in the .wav or .mp3 format.
Once you have changed the sounds on your Windows 11 computer, you will hear the new sounds when the corresponding events or actions occur. If you want to restore the default sounds at any time, you can click on the "Restore Defaults" button in the Sound window.
