Clearing the Windows Security Defender History: A Simple How-To Guide

Clear Windows Security Defender History
To clear the Windows Security Defender history, you can do the following:

Open Windows Security by clicking the shield icon in the task bar or searching for it in the Start menu.

Click on "Virus & threat protection" in the left panel.

Under "Virus & threat protection history," click on "View history."

Click on "Clear history" at the top of the page.

Confirm by clicking on "Clear history" again in the pop-up window.

Keep in mind that clearing the history will remove all records of previous scans, detected threats, and other information from the Windows Security Defender history. This action cannot be undone, so make sure you want to permanently delete this information before proceeding.
