Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on Windows 10
To enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on Windows 10, follow these steps:
Open the Control Panel.
In the Control Panel, go to Network and Sharing Center.
In the Network and Sharing Center, click on the Change adapter settings link on the left-hand side.
Right-click on the network adapter you want to enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on, and then select Properties.
In the network adapter's Properties dialog box, click on the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) or Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) item, depending on which version of IP you are using.
Click on the Properties button.
In the Internet Protocol Properties dialog box, click on the Advanced button.
In the Advanced TCP/IP Settings dialog box, go to the WINS tab.
In the WINS tab, click on the Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP radio button, and then click on the OK button.
Close the network adapter's Properties dialog box, and then close the Control Panel.
After following these steps, NetBIOS over TCP/IP should be enabled on your network adapter.
