To mute a tab in Google Chrome, follow these steps:


Open Google Chrome and navigate to the tab that you want to mute.


Right-click on the tab and select "Mute Site" from the context menu.


The tab will be muted, and you will see a speaker icon with a line through it in the tab to indicate that it is muted.


To unmute the tab, right-click on the tab again and select "Unmute Site" from the context menu.


Alternatively, you can also mute a tab by clicking on the speaker icon in the address bar at the top of the Chrome window. This will mute all tabs from the same website. To unmute the tabs, click on the speaker icon again.
