To split a cell in Excel, first select the cell or cells that you want to split. Then, click on the "Data" tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen and click on the "Text to Columns" button in the "Data Tools" section. This will open the "Convert Text to Columns" wizard. In the wizard, choose the "Fixed Width" option and then use the vertical lines in the preview section to indicate where you want the cell to be split. Click "Finish" to split the cell. You can then adjust the width of the columns to fit the text as needed.
