How To Turn On File History On Windows 10
To turn on File History on Windows 10, follow these steps:

Open the Start menu and type "File History" into the search bar.
Click on "File History" in the search results.
In the File History window, click the "Turn On" button.
If you have an external hard drive or network location set up for File History, it will start backing up your files automatically. If you don't have a location set up, you'll be prompted to select one.
Alternatively, you can also turn on File History from the Control Panel:

Open the Start menu and type "Control Panel" into the search bar.
Click on "Control Panel" in the search results.
In the Control Panel, click on "System and Security".
Under "File History", click on the "Turn on" button.
Once File History is turned on, it will automatically back up your files every hour (by default) to the location you've chosen. You can customize the frequency and specific folders that File History backs up by clicking on the "Advanced Settings" link in the File History window.
