Resetting Your Windows PIN: A Simple How-To Guide

Here are the steps to reset your Windows PIN:

Open the Start menu and click on the "Settings" gear icon.

In the Settings window, click on the "Accounts" option.

Under the "Your account" section, click on the "Sign-in options" tab.

Scroll down and click on the "I forgot my PIN" link.

Enter your Microsoft account password and click "Next".

Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your PIN.

Keep in mind that you will need to have a Microsoft account and be signed in to your Windows device with that account in order to reset your PIN. If you do not have a Microsoft account, or if you are signed in with a local account instead, you will not be able to reset your PIN using the steps above. In that case, you will need to create a Microsoft account or switch to using a Microsoft account in order to reset your PIN.
